Palantir Estimates Rise as Citi Sees Commercial Growth Rebound - Yahoo Finance

What the report says
Yahoo Finance, in an article credited as first appearing on GuruFocus, reported that Palantir Technologies returned to analyst focus after Citi raised its earnings and revenue expectations for the data analytics and artificial intelligence software company. The report, published July 24, 2026, said Citi analyst Tyler Radke expects Palantir’s U.S. commercial business to improve after a weaker-than-expected first quarter.
According to the report, Radke cited improved allocation of resources and broader adoption of Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform across industries and geographies as factors behind the more optimistic view. Citi now projects fiscal 2027 sales growth of 53%, compared with an approximately 45% Wall Street estimate cited in the article. The firm also expects commercial revenue to rise 67% year over year.
Citi kept a Buy rating on Palantir but reduced its price target to $200 from $225, with the report attributing the cut to pressure on valuation multiples. The article said Citi’s recent checks with partners and company management were positive across both commercial and government operations, and noted customer growth in legal services, cloud infrastructure and international markets.
The report also said Palantir’s federal business may be supported by wider defense-related use cases, government contracts and partnerships with systems integrators and software vendors. For investors, the central question is whether U.S. commercial growth can rebound enough to justify further upward estimate revisions through fiscal 2027, especially after the stock underperformed a software-sector benchmark following its most recent quarterly report.
