What the report says

Ambassador Saifullahi Sadisu Yazid Kazaure, writing from Dutse in Jigawa State, says his work in community service is centered on youth empowerment rather than public recognition. In an AllAfrica-published Daily Trust report dated 1 October 2026, he is described as the chief executive of the Dr Saufhan Foundation, a state official with the GTI Human Rights Activists and founder of the Jigawa Youth Awareness Forum (JYAF).

Kazaure said his groups focus on education support, youth engagement, advocacy, outreach and assistance for vulnerable people. He argued that many young people have talent but lack guidance, information and access to opportunities, and that even helping one person at the right time can influence an entire community. He said his involvement in student and youth activities began around 2016 and gradually expanded into more organized community initiatives.

The report says his work has included educational guidance, student support, youth mobilization, humanitarian aid and awareness campaigns across Jigawa and beyond. He also acknowledged challenges such as limited resources, difficulty sustaining programs and managing public expectations. Rather than relying on one-time interventions, he wants more structured and lasting efforts that move young people from dependence toward self-reliance.

Looking ahead, Kazaure said he hopes to strengthen the foundation’s work in education, digital skills, employment and community development, while also using technology, data analytics and artificial intelligence to create practical opportunities. He added that partnerships with government, private groups, schools and youth organizations will be important because, in his view, sustainable development requires collective action.
