New Official Borderlands Release Confirmed for July 30 - GameRant

What the report says
GameRant reported that Gearbox has confirmed the fourth Borderlands 4 bounty pack will arrive on July 30, adding another short-form DLC mission as the game moves through the final stretch of its current Season Pass roadmap. The article, published July 25, 2026, describes bounty packs as compact, replay-focused missions built around a specific character and combat encounters.
According to GameRant’s summary of Gearbox’s updated roadmap and related developer materials, the new pack centers on Levain and two rival Ripper groups. One faction, The Flock, is seeking to preserve a nonviolent way of life, while the Blasphemers have taken control of an Order facility in a canyon called the Toxic Scowl. The pack is expected to include a major boss, three unique mini-boss-style enemies, new Legendary and Pearlescent loot, cosmetics, a splattered paint skin for ECHO-4 and the Vault Hunters, and a new vehicle.
GameRant also reported that Gearbox is emphasizing replayability for this release through A-or-B decisions that can change dialogue and combat setups. Vault Card 4, described as Borderlands’ battle-pass-style system, is scheduled to launch alongside the bounty pack with cosmetics and re-rollable Legendary gear.
The July release is part of a broader content plan. GameRant noted that September is expected to bring a larger drop, including the new Vault Hunter Loveless the Hacker, a second story pack featuring returning Vault Hunter FL4K, and an added fifth bounty pack. It remains unclear from the report whether that September update will conclude Borderlands 4 DLC support or lead into another year of content.
