Gematsu reports that Kogado Studio has announced Neosphere of The Deep-blue Sky: Legacy, a remastered release in its Aoi series. The title is planned for Nintendo Switch and PC, with PC availability through Steam and Windows, and is scheduled to launch in Japan in spring 2027. The release is set to support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese language options.

According to the report, Neosphere of The Deep-blue Sky originally debuted for PC in Japan in 2005 before later receiving PlayStation 2 and PSP versions. The new Legacy edition follows Tristia: Legacy as the second remastered title in the series, continuing Kogado Studio’s effort to revisit older entries for current platforms.

The game is described as a city-building simulation, shifting the setting from Tristia’s coastal city to the airborne kingdom of Neosphere. Players work alongside novice inventor Nanoca Flanca to create unusual inventions and help restore the kingdom, keeping the focus on rebuilding and character-driven interactions.

Gematsu says the remaster will retain the original game’s setting and character appeal while adding updated visuals and gameplay systems adjusted for modern players. Kogado Studio has also opened an official teaser website, though the report does not detail pricing, a specific release date, or plans for regions outside Japan.
