NCBA Bank Uganda drives automotive innovation at the 2026 NCBA auto show

The Independent Uganda reports that NCBA Bank Uganda served as Platinum and official title sponsor of the 2026 NCBA Auto Show, held from July 17 to 19 at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala. The event, described by the publisher as Uganda’s premier automotive exhibition, expanded to a three-day format for the first time and ran under the theme, “Safer Vehicles. Safer Roads. Safer Journeys.”

According to the report, the show was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Works and Transport and focused on road safety, responsible driving and innovation in Uganda’s automotive sector. It brought together vehicle dealers, manufacturers, mobility providers, government agencies, financial institutions and automotive enthusiasts to display and discuss new developments in the industry.

NCBA Bank Uganda used the event to promote its Asset Finance products, with staff at its pavilion advising visitors on vehicle financing for personal, commercial and fleet needs. The Independent reported that the bank’s offer includes financing of up to 90% for new and used vehicles, competitive interest rates and flexible repayment options. Bank executives Julius Konyani, Adad Iraguha and Edgar Tusiime said the sponsorship aligned with NCBA’s focus on expanding access to mobility and engaging customers beyond conventional banking.

The exhibition featured luxury and everyday vehicles, electric vehicles, motorcycles, vintage cars, stunt and driving demonstrations, gaming and technology displays, road safety education and family activities. The report frames the show as an example of how banks, automotive firms and public agencies are collaborating to widen vehicle ownership options and influence Uganda’s mobility landscape.
