Urban Empire is preparing to open Muziki Garage and Beta Hub Restaurant in Munyonyo, Kampala, on September 15, 2026, according to Watchdog Uganda. The launch is being presented as a new entertainment and lifestyle venue aimed at Uganda’s creative and social scene, bringing together musicians, live bands, comedians, artists, content creators and other entertainment fans.

The organizers said the opening event will feature live music, comedy and performances, and that the venue is intended to serve as more than a restaurant or nightlife spot. Instead, it is being positioned as a place for networking, talent showcase and creative collaboration. The article says Socialite Club, described as the “home of socialites” in Uganda, is coordinating preparations for the launch.

Watchdog Uganda reported support for the project from a range of organisations and brands, including the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Aquafina, SM Investments, Land Management Centre, Operation Wealth Creation, the Federation of Uganda Social Media Influencers, Kubeera Motors and Kalungi Motors. The promoter quoted in the piece said the project was meant as a way of giving back to the community after ten years in the entertainment and social scene.

The opening also reflects Munyonyo’s growing profile as a Kampala nightlife and hospitality destination. If successful, the weekly Tuesday programming described by organizers could add a regular fixture to the city’s entertainment calendar.
