Movit Africa wins top award at Rwanda International Trade Fair 2026

What the report says
Movit Africa was recognized as the best exhibitor in manufacturing at the 2026 Rwanda International Trade Fair in Kigali, according to The Independent Uganda. The award followed the company’s presentation at the event, where it showcased its beauty and personal care products through an experience it called “World of Ubwiza,” a Rwanda-focused display intended to connect with consumers and trade partners.
The article said the exhibition featured product zones, live demonstrations, consultations, complimentary hairstyling and opportunities for visitors to sample products. Movit Africa presented the initiative as a way to highlight local relevance and improve engagement with shoppers. The company has operated in Rwanda since 2009 and has expanded from an early focus on baby jelly into a broader product range, with distribution through more than 5,000 outlets nationwide, the report said.
The Independent Uganda also quoted Gad Nuwaha, Movit Africa Rwanda’s country business manager, who described the award as validation of the company’s efforts to build a business suited to Rwandan consumers and communities. He said the recognition reflects attention to quality, local relevance and partnerships. The article added that more than 40,000 consumers received samples at the fair, giving the company feedback for future product development and helping it deepen ties with distributors, retailers and salons in the market.
