The brand said the event was meant to celebrate the contestants’ achievements after the inaugural Miss Universe Uganda competition and to show support for their upcoming pageant journeys. Daka’s win is being described as a historic moment for Ugandan pageantry because she is set to become the first Ugandan contestant in the Miss Universe competition’s 75-year history. According to Sqoop Uganda, she will represent the country in Puerto Rico in November.
