Minister Babalanda Hails Kabaka Mutebi’s 33 Years of Cultural Leadership and Unity

Uganda’s Minister for the Presidency, Babirye Milly Babalanda, has congratulated Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II of Buganda on his 33rd coronation anniversary, which was marked on 31 July 2026. In a message shared on her official X account, she praised the monarch’s long record of cultural leadership and described his reign as a source of stability and guidance for Buganda and Uganda.

According to Watchdog Uganda, Babalanda said the Kabaka’s leadership has supported unity, heritage preservation, education, health, and economic empowerment.
