Meghan in talks for role in Netflix series The Gentlemen, BBC understands

What the report says
BBC World News reports that Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is in early discussions about a possible acting role in Netflix’s "The Gentlemen." According to the BBC, this would be her first major acting job since marrying Prince Harry, although she recently made a brief on-screen appearance as herself in another forthcoming project. The outlet says the details of any part she might play have not yet been disclosed.
"The Gentlemen" is a comedy series created by Guy Ritchie and starring Theo James. BBC’s reporting notes that earlier seasons were filmed largely in the Cotswolds, the English region where the couple are rumoured to be considering a home base when they return to the UK. Past episodes of the show have also featured actors including Hugh Bonneville and Vinnie Jones.
Meghan was previously known for her role as Rachel Zane in the US legal drama "Suits," which ended in 2018. The BBC says she stepped back from acting after her 2018 marriage and has since focused on other projects, including her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The possible return comes alongside broader reporting by the BBC that Harry and Meghan plan to relocate to the UK later this month, though there are no current plans for either to resume official royal duties.
If the talks lead to a deal, the move would mark a notable return to a field Meghan left several years ago and could add commercial visibility to both the series and her personal brand.
