Mao Warns DP Members Against Independent Candidacies, Defends NRM Cooperation Deal

Democratic Party President General Norbert Mao has warned members against contesting elections as independents, saying those who abandon the party’s structures should not expect to return. Mao also defended the DP’s cooperation agreement with the ruling NRM, saying collaboration on shared interests does not compromise the party’s identity.
