Notebookcheck.net reported that Lenovo has released another round of teasers for the Legion C700, a new Legion-branded gaming handheld expected to launch in China in August 2026. The latest material adds to earlier design disclosures and positions the device as a thinner, lighter alternative in the handheld gaming category.

According to the report, Lenovo has confirmed a 7.82-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a specification aimed at smoother visuals in games and interface navigation. The company also said the Legion C700 will use TMR thumbsticks, a technology Notebookcheck notes should help users avoid concerns associated with stick drift. Other core hardware details, including the processor, battery capacity and operating system, have not yet been announced.

The newest teasers focus on portability. Notebookcheck said Lenovo lists the Legion C700 at 14.9mm thick and about 556 grams, or roughly 1.25 pounds. For comparison, the article cited Lenovo’s Legion Go S at 22.6mm and about 730 grams, and Asus’ ROG Ally X at 24.7mm and about 678 grams. Those comparisons suggest Lenovo is emphasizing a more compact chassis rather than the bulkier builds common among higher-powered PC handhelds.

Notebookcheck framed the slim design as consistent with Lenovo marketing the C700 as a cloud-focused handheld, meaning it may not need the same internal hardware as devices built primarily for local PC gaming. The article also noted that Android is possible but unconfirmed, and that a broad international release may be uncertain because the product is being developed in partnership with Tencent.
