Last Gal set to turn up Guvnor with first solo show

Ugandan DJ and entertainer Last Gal is preparing for her first solo headline show, a milestone that Sqoop Uganda says will take place on October 2, 2026, at Guvnor Street in Kampala. The event, titled “The Last Gal,” is being positioned as a mix of DJ performance and rave-style entertainment centered on her own music and stage presence.

According to Sqoop Uganda, the show comes after Last Gal first rose to attention as part of a DJ duo with media personality and DJ Etania before moving into a solo career. Since then, she has performed in Uganda and in markets including Kenya, Rwanda and Dubai, while also building her profile on Radio 4 Uganda’s Kiwoowo Friday segment, “Last Girl on the Ones and Twos.”

Last Gal described the concert as a reflection of her growth and solo journey, and said it is intended to connect with fans and highlight the story of female DJs. The planned production is expected to include DJ sets, electronic music, lighting and audiovisual elements, with ticket tiers announced for early buyers and at the gate, plus VIP options. More broadly, the show signals her effort to establish herself as a standalone act capable of drawing a major audience under her own name.
