According to the report, Jackson began boxing after a friend suggested it and later brought wide receiver Zay Flowers into the workouts. Flowers reportedly called Jackson early in the morning before the pair completed a conventional workout and then boxed, with Jackson framing the activity mainly as a cardio tool that challenged much of his body. Jackson also credited Flowers’ intensity, saying the receiver’s approach helped push him.

The development is notable because Jackson’s 2025 season was affected by lower-body injuries, which the team site said cost him four games and limited him at other points.
