La Fang Eco Resort hosts influencers to promote Dolwe Island tourism

Participants also visited rooms and cottages that the resort says were designed around existing rocks and trees to support a sustainability-focused approach.

La Fang Eco Resort General Manager Duncan Wandera told Nile Post the initiative is meant to use digital storytelling, photos and videos to introduce more people to Dolwe Island and the experiences available at the resort. The article also says the team received Explore Uganda-branded promotional materials as part of wider destination marketing efforts. Influencers quoted in the report praised the island’s scenery, calm environment, hospitality and mix of relaxation and adventure.

Dolwe Island lies in Namayingo District on the eastern side of Lake Victoria, near Uganda’s borders with Kenya and Tanzania.
