King Saha fires back at Bebe Cool over concert comparisons

He suggested that critics should not apply the same yardstick to both formats, especially when ticketed concerts depend on fans buying entry. He also appeared to respond to earlier remarks from Bebe Cool about the cost of concert tickets, saying some people may not understand the value of what younger musicians are building.

Saha’s comments also carried a broader generational message. He said older artists should sometimes step back and observe rather than constantly question the direction of newer performers. The exchange adds to a long-running rivalry between the two musicians and reflects wider debates in Uganda’s entertainment scene about concert pricing, audience turnout and the commercial viability of live shows.
