Joshua Baraka’s Brakaland Tour reached Mbarara for its final stop outside Kampala, drawing fans to Nkore Place on Saturday night for a live music event that included dancing and entertainment. According to Nile Post, the show capped a countrywide roadshow that had already visited Gulu, Arua and Mbale before arriving in Mbarara.

The report says DJs helped keep the crowd engaged during the evening, with DJ Spinny later taking over and appealing especially to Amapiano fans. The event was backed by Johnnie Walker, which provided whisky-based drinks and cocktails, and the brand’s shopper marketing manager, Julius Ssenungi, praised Baraka’s rise and the partnership around the tour.

Baraka went on stage around 1 a.m. and performed several of his songs, including “Nana” and “YoYo,” along with other tracks such as “Dive In,” “This Time,” “Wrong Places,” “Dreams,” “Morocco” and “Dalilah.” Fans reportedly sang along throughout the set, and Baraka thanked the Mbarara audience for the support before pointing to Kampala as the tour’s final destination.

Nile Post says the Uganda edition of the Brakaland Tour will conclude at the Kampala Hockey Grounds on November 28, with ticket tiers listed for the finale. The tour reflects Baraka’s growing profile as a Ugandan artist and has been used as a vehicle to connect him with audiences outside the capital.
