Jackie and her partner, Shadow, had been followed for years by viewers around the world through a livestream of their nest in Big Bear Valley. The Friends of Big Bear Valley, a nonprofit that runs the nest camera, says Jackie was first seen in the area after hatching in 2012 and that the pair had been mates since 2018.
