Israeli strikes kill four across Gaza, destroy medical supply warehouse

Israeli strikes across Gaza killed at least four Palestinians on Saturday, according to Al Jazeera’s report, in attacks that also destroyed medical storage facilities next to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah. The strikes came days after Hamas and other Palestinian factions signed a disarmament agreement that the United States has described as a breakthrough in efforts to end the war.

The reported deaths included two people killed in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan area, one in Deir el-Balah and one in a tent near a school in al-Mawasi, north of Khan Younis. Al Jazeera cited hospital sources, Wafa news agency and local reporters for those accounts. The Israeli military and Shin Bet said they had struck Hamas weapon depots overnight, including one near the hospital.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said two of four medicine storage rooms were fully destroyed and two more were badly damaged, calling the attack a serious assault on health care access. Hospital officials said the blast damaged supplies including intravenous fluids, medicines and items used in dialysis and intensive care, while nearby tents for displaced families were also hit. Al Jazeera reported that the hospital remains one of the few major treatment centers still functioning in central Gaza.

The broader war has heavily strained Gaza’s health system, with aid and medical access repeatedly disrupted. Al Jazeera also reported that local civil defence teams continued recovering bodies from earlier destroyed homes in Gaza City, underscoring the scale of damage and ongoing displacement.
