What the report says

At least four people were killed and several others wounded in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to health officials cited by Al Jazeera. The dead included at least three people, among them two children, in an Israeli drone strike in the al-Kateeba district west of Gaza City in northern Gaza on Tuesday morning. A medical source at al-Shifa Hospital said eight people were wounded in that attack.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Gaza City reported intense aerial activity over the area, including multiple drones overhead and a period of repeated strikes that created what he described as a chaotic scene. Images shared online showed smoke rising after the attack. In a separate strike in central Gaza, near Deir el-Balah, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said at least one person was killed.

The Israeli military said it struck several targets in Gaza and said the operations were intended to remove threats to its forces. Channel 12 in Israel reported explosions heard across the Strip, while Palestinian outlet Quds said missiles and quadcopter drones were used. The latest violence adds to a continuing pattern of casualties in Gaza reported since the October 2025 ceasefire arrangement, underscoring how fragile the situation remains despite the truce.
