Documents filed under the U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act are said to trace funding through advertising and public-relations firms to LaPam, Israel’s state advertising agency, with a New York firm, Piro Inc, working on the account under a $900,000 digital communications order.

The article says the Hanover website generated a large volume of academic-style material in a short period, built around questions likely to be asked of AI systems, including topics such as Gaza, starvation and the Israeli military.
