9to5Mac reported that Apple is expected to introduce its first foldable iPhone this fall, with rumors pointing to the name “iPhone Ultra” for the new top-tier model. The article, published July 24, 2026, describes the device as a book-style foldable that would open into a wider-than-tall layout, pairing a smaller outer display with an inner screen closer in feel to an iPad mini. The report says the design is expected to use titanium, be very thin when unfolded, and aim for a crease-free inner display.

According to 9to5Mac, rumored screen sizes include an outer display of about 5.3 to 5.5 inches and an inner display of about 7.6 to 7.8 inches. The camera setup is expected to include two rear lenses — 48-megapixel Main and Ultra Wide cameras — but not a Telephoto lens, which would distinguish it from Apple’s Pro models.
