Hibs ban fans group for three games after disorder

What the report says
Hibernian have barred the Block Seven supporter group from the club’s next three fixtures after images appeared to show some away fans involved in clashes with police and stewards at Saturday’s Scottish Premiership match against Dundee United. The ban covers upcoming games against Falkirk and Celtic at Easter Road, plus an away trip to St Mirren. Hibs said the decision followed initial investigations and that the action was discussed with the Scottish Professional Football League.
The club said its review of the Tannadice incident is still ongoing and that further steps, including possible individual or wider group sanctions, could follow once that process is complete. Hibs also linked the measure to an earlier sanction this season, saying the latest punishment comes after a one-match ban issued for a separate incident. The team lost the match, which was head coach Marink Reedijk’s first in charge.
The announcement came on the same day police said 10 more people had been charged over disorder connected to Hibernian’s away match at St Johnstone last month. Taken together, the developments show the club and police continuing to deal with crowd trouble linked to Hibs games. More broadly, football clubs in Scotland often work with police, leagues and visiting clubs when behaviour in the stands raises safety concerns.
