What the report says

Club Guvnor in Kampala has launched a one-week flash sale on tickets for the Serendipity Summer Splash Street Party, according to Sqoop Uganda. The discounted offer runs from August 31 and cuts the price of entry to Shs50,000, down from the regular online early-bird rate of Shs70,000. Organizers are using the promotion to build momentum ahead of the September event and encourage early purchases before prices return to normal.

The street party is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, outside Club Guvnor Streetside. The venue area is expected to be turned into an outdoor entertainment setting that runs from daytime into the early hours of the next morning. Sqoop Uganda says the main attraction will be international dancehall and soca performer Kevin Lyttle, best known globally for "Turn Me On," whose live set is expected to give the event a Caribbean feel.

If buyers miss the flash sale, tickets will go back to Shs70,000 online after August 31, while gate entry will cost Shs150,000. Tables are priced at Shs2 million, and tickets are being sold through Quicket Uganda. The promotion is part of the wider pre-event marketing around one of Kampala’s notable nightlife gatherings, where ticket pricing and headline performers often help determine turnout.
