Gogonyo County Gets 2,100 Reasons to Sit Down as MP Orone Gifts Chairs and Tents

According to Dokolo Post, the furniture and tents are meant to reduce the burden of hiring equipment for burials, weddings, clan meetings and other public gatherings. Orone said the handover was part of his effort to stay connected with constituents. The report also noted that he linked the donation to his political support in Gogonyo and to his role in several NRM and parliamentary positions.

The MP said the items would remain under parish-level management through coordinators associated with his team, and that any broken chair would need to be replaced by the user of the function.
