Ghana: Health Ministry Dismisses False Ebola Outbreak Claims in Ghana

The ministry described the circulating publication as false and misleading, saying the figures did not represent the situation in Ghana.

According to the report, the ministry’s Public Relations Unit said the disputed publication had been attributed to SABC News, but Ghana had not recorded any case of Ebola Virus Disease. The ministry also addressed public attention around a recent visit by Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh to points of entry, laboratories and treatment facilities.
