Germany's Wamser completes move to Man City

Manchester City have completed the signing of Germany defender Carlotta Wamser from Bayer Leverkusen on a four-year contract, BBC Sport Football reported. The 22-year-old can operate on either side of defence and joins City as they prepare to begin their Women’s Super League title defence at home to Birmingham City on Sunday.

Wamser, who made her senior international debut in 2025, has 14 caps for Germany and has come through the national youth system, including being part of the team that won the Under-17 European Championship in 2019.
