BBC Sport reports that Tyson Fury kept a prospective all-British heavyweight fight with Anthony Joshua alive by stopping Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, on 24 July 2026. Fury, 37, controlled the bout at Max Muay Thai Stadium until Wach, 46, did not come out for the eighth round, giving Fury the 36th win of his professional career.

The event was notably modest for a boxer of Fury’s profile. BBC reported that the crowd was no larger than about 1,500 and that the fight was not carried live on television or radio.
