Hull City have added French forward Mohamed-Ali Cho from Ligue 1 club Nice on a five-year deal, according to BBC Sport Football. The 22-year-old is Hull’s 12th signing of the summer as the club continues reshaping its squad after earning promotion to the Premier League.

BBC Sport reported that Cho spent two and a half years at Nice, making 93 appearances and contributing 12 goals and 13 assists. He also brings European experience, having played in the Europa League for Nice and the Champions League for Real Sociedad. Before joining Hull, Cho had also played for Real Sociedad and earlier came through at Angers, where he made his professional debut as a teenager.

The move fits into a wider spending push by Hull, who have invested heavily since winning the Championship play-off final against Middlesbrough. The club has already made a series of additions, including a record signing of Senegal defender Nobel Mendy. The recruitment drive underlines Hull’s intent to build a squad capable of competing back in the top flight after a nine-year absence.

Cho’s background also reflects a pathway across French and English football: born in France and raised in England, he previously represented England at under-16 level before switching to France at youth level. BBC Sport noted that he has already featured in a Premier League campaign opener for Hull, where the club enjoyed an encouraging start with a win over Manchester United.
