What the report says

AC Milan have agreed a loan move for Nottingham Forest forward Omari Hutchinson, with the deal running until the end of the season, according to BBC Sport Football. The Italian club also have the option to make the transfer permanent when the campaign ends. The move gives Hutchinson a chance to restart his season after limited involvement at Forest.

BBC Sport reported that Hutchinson joined Forest in a £37.5m move from Ipswich Town 12 months ago, but his first season at the City Ground brought only 17 Premier League starts across four different managers. The article also noted that his only minutes this season came in Forest’s League Cup defeat by Leeds United. He will wear the number 20 shirt for Milan.

Hutchinson, who has previously been on the books of Chelsea and Arsenal, made two senior appearances for Chelsea before moving to Ipswich in 2023. After first joining Ipswich on loan, he later made the transfer permanent following their promotion to the Premier League. The BBC also highlighted his role in England Under-21s’ European Championship success in 2025. The loan adds another high-profile move to Milan’s squad rebuild and offers Forest a chance to manage a player who had not been a regular starter.
