Flamecraft adds PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch versions; demo now available - Gematsu

What the report says
Gematsu reported that the video game adaptation of Flamecraft, the tabletop strategy game, is now planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch in addition to the previously announced PC version on Steam. Developer Monster Couch announced the expanded platform lineup, with the console versions set to launch alongside the PC release. A demo is available now across all announced platforms.
According to the overview shared by Monster Couch and cited by Gematsu, the demo lets players explore a portion of the game’s town, including several of its shops, and meet both Artisan and Fancy Dragons. Players can face computer-controlled opponents at three difficulty settings or play local multiplayer with as many as five participants. The demo also includes a fully narrated tutorial voiced by Becca Scott, intended to introduce the basics of playing as a Flamekeeper.
The announcement matters because it broadens the audience for Flamecraft beyond PC players and gives console owners an early opportunity to try the adaptation before release. For readers less familiar with the property, Flamecraft began as a tabletop game centered on placing dragons in shops and using their abilities to build an engine-style strategy experience; the digital version appears to be preserving that cozy town-and-dragon theme while adding platform-specific access and guided onboarding.
Gematsu also noted that a new console announcement trailer was released with the news. The report did not include a final release date, pricing details or confirmation of online multiplayer.
