According to the BBC, Uefa’s filings accused Infantino of criminal mismanagement and of promoting an off-market price for his own benefit. Fifa rejected that characterization in its own US court filing, saying the project was only ever a proposal and could not have gone ahead without support from most member associations and approval from the Fifa Council. Fifa asked the court to oppose Uefa’s request for disclosure by the end of the month.
