Euro Gold Refinery CEO Bernard Feni receives double recognition in Ghana

Ugandan entrepreneur Bernard Feni, founder and chief executive of Euro Gold Refinery, has received two honours at the Ghana Merit Awards 2026 in Accra, according to The Independent Uganda. He was named CEO/Entrepreneur of the Year, while his philanthropic group, the Mungu Feni Foundation, won Best NGO/Foundation of the Year.

The report says the awards come as Feni’s company continues to expand its role in Uganda’s gold and minerals sector. The company says it refines gold to 99.9% purity, has invested in refining technology and training, and employs a largely Ugandan workforce.
