Dokta Brain reveals the Ugandan artiste he still dreams of writing for

What the report says
Songwriter Dokta Brain has said veteran Ugandan singer Bebe Cool remains one of the artists he most wants to write for, according to Sqoop Uganda. He described Bebe Cool as a performer whose way of interpreting songs he admires, and said a direct collaboration with him would be an important step in his career.
Sqoop Uganda reported that Dokta Brain already has experience writing for established musicians, but he still sees a full project with Bebe Cool as unfinished business. The two have crossed paths musically before through “Koona,” a track Dokta Brain wrote for Ray Signature that later included Bebe Cool’s vocals. Dokta Brain suggested Bebe Cool may not have known at the time that he was the writer behind the lyrics.
The songwriter said Bebe Cool had been searching for a song with a particular feel, which helped bring him onto that earlier collaboration. Even so, Dokta Brain said the experience increased his desire to write a song specifically tailored for the Gagamel boss. He pointed to Bebe Cool’s experience, voice and delivery as reasons he believes the pairing would work well.
The remarks place the story in Uganda’s music scene, where songwriting collaborations are often part of an artist’s growth and visibility. For Dokta Brain, working directly with a major name such as Bebe Cool would mark another milestone in an already growing catalogue.
