Dokolo Nursing School Registers Record 64 Students as New Guild Leaders Take Office

Dokolo School of Nursing and Midwifery has reported its largest single-semester intake since the institution began, with 64 new students admitted in Set 14. According to Dokolo Post, the announcement came on Saturday, September 5, 2026, during a student leadership handover ceremony at which outgoing Guild and Uganda National Association of Students of Nursing and Midwifery (UNASNM) officials passed office to newly elected leaders.

The school said the higher enrolment reflects growing confidence in its nursing and midwifery programmes. The incoming Guild president, Krop John, and UNASNM president, Mabonga Dickson, pledged unity and balanced leadership, while outgoing leaders thanked students and encouraged continuity.
