Digne completes move to PSG from Aston Villa

France left-back Lucas Digne has completed a transfer from Aston Villa to Paris Saint-Germain, according to BBC Sport Football. The move takes the 33-year-old back to the club where he began his senior career, and BBC Sport said he has signed a three-year contract at Parc des Princes. PSG activated an £8.5m release clause in his Villa deal to secure the move.

Digne first played for PSG for three years before leaving in 2016, and the report said he made 30 appearances in his initial spell. After stints at Barcelona and Everton, he joined Aston Villa in 2022.
