Coventry City have completed a season-long loan signing of English defender Stephen Mfuni from Manchester City, according to BBC Sport Football. The 18-year-old arrives as Frank Lampard’s 11th signing since Coventry were promoted to the Premier League at the end of last season.

Mfuni has made one senior appearance for Manchester City, coming on as a substitute in last season’s FA Cup win over Exeter City. He is also an England Under-19 international and spent part of last season on loan at Watford, where he made eight Championship appearances.
