Court Adjourns Ex-Ndiga Clan Leader Bbosa Murder Case Over Lack of Lawyers for Three Accused

The High Court in Kampala has postponed the fresh reading of murder charges against five suspects accused in the killing of former Ndiga clan leader Eng. Daniel Bbosa Kakeeto after three of them appeared without lawyers. Judge David Matovu adjourned the matter and directed that government-funded legal representation be arranged for the accused who do not yet have counsel before the case can continue.

The suspects named in the case are Luggya Tabula, Noah Luggya, Ezra Mayanja, Harriet Nakiguli and Joseph Nakabale. They are charged over Bbosa’s killing in Lubaga, Kampala, in February 2024. According to the report, prosecutors say Tabula was the alleged mastermind and had paid for the murder.
