What the report says

CNET reported that San Diego Comic-Con’s Saturday slate capped three days of entertainment announcements, with studios including Prime Video, Apple TV, Warner Bros., Paramount and others releasing new trailers and date updates for upcoming films and series. The outlet noted that Marvel’s Hall H panel was closely watched but did not produce new public teasers, shifting attention to genre titles across streaming and theaters.

Among the Prime Video projects highlighted, Mike Flanagan’s modernized Carrie series, starring Summer H. Howell, is set for Oct. 7, with Stephen King involved as an executive producer. Blade Runner 2099, an eight-episode limited sequel series starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer, is scheduled for Nov. 25. The Rings of Power season 3, debuting Nov. 11, advances Sauron’s conflict with the elves and adds Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn. Reacher season 4 moves Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher into a New York political-conspiracy plot, while the Neagley spinoff is due Sept. 16.

CNET also pointed to DC’s Lanterns, arriving on HBO Max on Aug. 16, with its new trailer introducing Manhunters and Sinestro. AMC’s Interview With the Vampire will turn its fourth season toward Queen of the Damned, with Sheila Atim’s Akasha central to the next chapter.

Other items in the roundup included Apple TV’s Matchbox film on Oct. 9 and Neuromancer adaptation on Jan. 22, 2027; Coyote vs. Acme, now set for theaters Aug. 28 via Ketchup Entertainment; Percy Jackson season 3 on Nov. 20; Johnny Depp’s Ebenezer on Nov. 13; and Paramount Plus’ Avatar: Seven Havens this fall.
