Citing ESPN, the report said Brissett’s new arrangement gives him $15.5 million in base compensation and the ability to earn up to $21 million.

Brissett had signed a two-year contract with Arizona in 2025 to back up Kyler Murray, according to the report. He later moved into the starting role during the regular season and entered 2026 as the Cardinals’ presumptive No. 1 quarterback, creating pressure for the team to adjust a deal that previously averaged $6.5 million per year.
