Calvert-Lewin denies Man Utd - who rated highest?

What the report says
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s second-half equaliser earned Leeds a draw with Manchester United at Elland Road and extended United’s winless run to six matches, their longest such stretch since 2019, according to BBC Sport Football. The match also prompted BBC player ratings for both sides, with Leeds and United each assessed on their individual performances across the game.
BBC’s report said Leeds improved after a cautious opening and that Calvert-Lewin grew into the contest after a quiet start. His goal came after he had earlier headed wide and then tested United goalkeeper Senne Lammens. Leeds also had chances through James Trafford’s sweeping clearance, Jayden Bogle’s attacking runs and a near-post header from Nico Elvedi. Several Leeds players were rated solidly, with Calvert-Lewin and Lammens among the better performers in the ratings.
For United, Bryan Mbeumo had opened the scoring but later struggled to influence the match as Leeds pressed more heavily. BBC noted strong work from midfielder Youri Tielemans in setting up the goal, while goalkeeper Lammens made a good save and Harry Maguire was judged to have handled much of the aerial and physical challenge well. The draw adds to pressure around United’s current form, while Leeds’ fightback underlined their ability to compete against a bigger rival at home.
