Breitling Launches A Top Time Trio Paying Tribute To The Aston Martin DB5 - Fratello Watches

What the report says
Fratello Watches reports that Breitling has introduced three limited-edition Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 models honoring the Aston Martin DB5, the British grand tourer first associated with the early 1960s. The new watches continue Breitling’s Aston Martin collaboration and shift the focus from the Formula One team to the carmaker’s road-car heritage. Fratello says the launch follows a sold-out titanium Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Formula One Team edition released earlier in the partnership.
The trio uses a 41mm cushion-shaped case with pump pushers and corner grooves meant to evoke a 1960s feel. The variants include a stainless-steel model with a silver dial and black sub-dials, a steel model with a polished platinum bezel and black dial, and an 18K red gold version with a black onyx dial. All three include a wooden tachymeter rehaut referencing the DB5’s steering wheel, though Fratello’s reviewer viewed that detail as more successful on the gold model than on the steel editions.
Each watch is powered by Breitling’s COSC-certified B01 automatic chronograph movement, which Fratello lists as running at 4 Hz with a 70-hour power reserve. Production is limited to 1,022 pieces for the steel model, 315 for the steel-and-platinum version, and 250 for the red gold edition. The gold model is individually numbered, while the others use Breitling’s broader limited-edition wording.
Prices begin at €10,500, US$11,400, or £8,650 for the steel version; rise to €16,500, US$18,600, or £14,400 for the platinum-bezel model; and reach €40,500, US$41,500, or £35,100 for the red gold edition. The release matters for collectors because it combines Breitling’s Top Time line, Aston Martin branding, and DB5-era design cues in a tightly segmented limited run.
