What the report says

The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, and the Inhebantu, Jovia Mutesi, have welcomed their third child, a son named Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah, according to a royal statement released by the Busoga Kingdom and reported by Nile Post. The announcement said the prince was born on November 1, 2026, and that both mother and baby were in good health. The statement was dated November 5 and was signed by Prince Arnold Nadiope.

The kingdom said the newborn shares a birthday with the Kyabazinga, which it described as a special moment for the royal family and Busoga at large. The statement also thanked people in Busoga, relatives, friends and well-wishers for their prayers and support.

The latest birth comes after the couple’s twin sons, Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, were born on August 27, 2025. Their arrival was announced the following month and was described by the Kyabazinga as a double blessing.

The couple married on November 18, 2023, at Christ’s Cathedral, Bugembe, in Jinja City, in a ceremony widely noted as Busoga’s first royal wedding since 1956. The new birth further expands the royal household and is likely to draw public interest in the kingdom’s succession and family milestones.
