The New York Post reports that the Pasadena mansion known to television fans as Batman’s Wayne Manor has been listed for $32 million. The Tudor-style estate on South San Rafael Avenue was used as the exterior backdrop for Wayne Manor in the 1960s “Batman” television series, which starred Adam West and Burt Ward and aired from 1966 to 1968. Citing the Pasadena Star-News, the Post said the property returned to the market after a reported $20.8 million sale in 2025.

The home spans about 19,000 square feet and includes seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, according to the report. Its period details include leaded-glass windows, turrets and a slate roof, while the property also has a home theater, pickleball court and a swimming pool with rock waterfalls. The Post said the mansion has also appeared in productions including “Stand By Me,” “Rush Hour,” “Bridesmaids” and “Murder, She Wrote.”

The asking price may not capture the full cost of owning the property. The Post cited Ritu Kant Ojha, CEO of Proact Luxury Real Estate, who estimated annual operating expenses for a home of this scale could run from $300,000 to $600,000, including items such as taxes, insurance, utilities, staffing, security and maintenance. Ojha also noted that a famous address can bring privacy concerns and may limit resale flexibility.

The listing is being handled by Peter Owens of Christie’s International Real Estate SoCal and Shannon Scavo of Maison Real Estate, the Post reported. Beyond its luxury-market appeal, the sale underscores how recognizable entertainment landmarks can carry both prestige and practical complications for buyers.
