RPG Site reported that Japanese developer Logicalbeat contributed to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, specifically assisting with support for 4K resolution and 60 frames-per-second playback. The site said Logicalbeat disclosed the work through an update to its own website. The Switch 2 version of the game was released last month, adding new content along with visual and performance improvements compared with the original Nintendo Switch release.

Logicalbeat is notable for its work on Baten Kaitos: I & II HD Remaster. RPG Site also cited a social media post by Yoshiki Domae, Logicalbeat’s representative director, who said the company cooperated on the 4K and 60fps support and noted he had replayed the game himself.
