Aston Villa have completed the signing of Senegal winger Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris St-Germain in a deal worth 55m euros, or about £47m, BBC Sport reported. The 18-year-old arrives after helping PSG to another successful season, during which he made 31 appearances in all competitions, scored three goals and set up two more as the French club retained both Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

BBC Sport said Mbaye, who was born in France, has already become a regular international for Senegal. He featured in all four of Senegal’s matches at the 2026 World Cup and scored against France, becoming the youngest African scorer in men’s World Cup history. He had previously come through PSG’s academy after joining from FC Versailles 78 in 2018 and made his senior debut in 2024 at the age of 16.

The move adds another attacking option for Unai Emery, with Villa continuing a major summer rebuild.
