Ugandan singer and politician Nina Roz has spoken positively about her past relationship with fellow musician Daddy Andre, saying that dating someone in the same industry helped them understand each other’s work and pressures. In an interview with Sanyuka TV, she said the shared experience of music made their connection feel more supportive and creatively useful.

According to Sqoop Uganda, Nina Roz argued that artiste-to-artiste relationships can offer clear benefits, including easier communication about creative work, professional encouragement and stronger studio chemistry. She said her relationship with Daddy Andre allowed them to exchange ideas and work with greater confidence because each knew what the other was trying to achieve.

The pair later ended their relationship, but Nina Roz said the experience still mattered to her.
