Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu, is taking part as an international speaker at a high-level conference in Madinah focused on Saudi Arabia’s efforts to confront intellectual deviation and promote moderation, according to Nile Post. His presentation is titled on the role of Saudi university alumni forums in advancing intellectual awareness. He is listed among six international speakers in that session, alongside participants from Malawi, Russia, Indonesia, India and Kenya.

The report adds that Ssemuddu studied at the Islamic University of Madinah and received its Distinguished Alumni Award earlier in 2026.
