Alien Skin asks Museveni to intervene in outstanding payment dispute

What the report says
Musician Alien Skin has asked President Yoweri Museveni to step in over what he describes as an unpaid agreement, according to Sqoop Uganda. The singer, whose real name is Patrick Mulwana, sent a letter dated November 3, 2026 to State House saying he completed his part of the work and is seeking settlement of the remaining payment. The letter was written on Fangone Forest Entertainment letterhead, linking the dispute to the musician’s entertainment outfit.
Sqoop Uganda reported that Mulwana did not identify the amount involved, the specific work covered by the agreement, or when the arrangement was made. He instead urged Museveni to help ensure the payment is resolved in line with the agreement. The publication said the letter does not state that the President personally owes the money, nor does it confirm that payment has been approved.
The appeal follows Mulwana’s earlier meeting with Museveni at State House in Entebbe in January, when he was accompanied by State House officials. At that meeting, Museveni reportedly encouraged him to mobilize young people for government programs and wealth creation. The latest request places the singer’s financial dispute in the public eye, though it remains unclear who is responsible for the debt or whether the President’s office has responded.
