The ministry said the cases were not connected and that the soldiers had been identified.

One photo showed three soldiers with a green-and-white flag bearing a coat of arms, while another showed four soldiers posing with the same banner in front of a tank. The ministry said the armed forces do not accept racist, supremacist or extremist behavior and stressed expectations of discipline and neutrality for military personnel, including online conduct.
